Yesterday marked the opening day of FH42 — a two-week session at Lac du Bois. New arrivals made their way through la douane (customs) choosing French names, exchanging dollars for euros, signing up for ateliers (interest-based activities), and stopping by la table française.

After completing all the stations for customs, villagers spent some time in their cabins getting to know one another.  Following le dîner, there was a tour of the site for all two-week villagers. Our high school credit villagers who have already been with us for two-weeks went to l’heure d’étude to have time to work on their projets and réflexions that are soon due!
